Reinforced concrete (RC) bridges are very popular and possess a great number of ratios in China. How to predict the service life of the RC bridge is a pressing work. Firstly, based on the vehicle load investigation of Chinese typical road, the bridge load-model with time-varying was created, where the permanent load which is irrelevant to time was described as random variable and vehicle load which is related to time parameter was described as random process. Secondly, a time-varying bridge resistance model was established concerning the factors such as concrete carbonation, steel bar corrosion and materials strength deterioration. Finally, with the JC method, a RC bridge's service life prediction model was developed using the bridge time-varying load-model and the time-varying bridge resistance model. As a case, a RC bridge's service life was predicted by this model in the paper.
