Study on Oxygen permeability of the Pipes Appliedfor Cold and Hot Water

摘要

The test method of oxygen permeability of plastic pipes which applied for cold and hot water in buildings was described in this paper. A few problems in oxygen permeability test have been found,discussed and solved. Some influencing factors, such as test temperature and test pressure, have been studied. The oxygen permeability of three different pipes (PE-RT pipe, PE-x pipe, PB pipe) were evaluated and discussed respectively, and some advices were brought forward on these pipes using in practice.
