THE REMOTE CONTROL METHOD OF FTTH EQUIPMNET FOR PROVIDING NETWORK SERVICE AND OBTAINING THE ACCURATE NETWORK DATA

This paper describes the effective method of control and the operation management of FTTH(Fiber To The Home) equipement for n ew future services to prevent network data problem in the access domain The past internet service is provided through the port of network equipment and it is managed and paid per a port. In the point of network equipment, the port which is connected to customer is just controlled at the specific time for service. But lately the service is changing from the internet service to the quadruple play of voice, high-definition (HD) video/ IPTV(IP television), mobile, and high-speed Internet service bundles. These kind of services are required more broadband, a good quality and the new operation method which needs the control of network equipement as well as the management for one customer’s service. There are a necessity to manage both the service management layer and the network equipement layer for providing and monitoring the service quality effectively[1]. The exact providing and monitoring service is based on the correct network data. In chapter 2, we explain the efficient management of operation and the remote control of FTTH to obtain the accurate network data.
