The present paper summarizes the laboratory studies of therneffect of wettability on oil recovery ofrnAlkaline/Surfactant/Polymer flooding. The wettability ofrnwater-wet Berea sandstone was altered into neutral-wet andrnoil-wet conditions by using organic reactants. The wettabilityrnindex of each core sample was determined using a modifiedrnAmott imbibition method. The displacement efficiency ofrnAlkaline/Surfactant/Polymer flooding and Polymer flooding atrnthe different wetting conditions was evaluated by laboratoryrncoreflood experiments. The experiment results indicate thatrnthe displacement efficiency of water flooding and ASPrnflooding is markedly affected by the wettability of the core.rnThe wettability is one of the important factors to determine thernoil recovery of water and ASP flooding. Water-wet and oilwetrnconditions are favorable to obtain high enhanced oilrnrecovery for ASP flooding. Contrast to ASP flooding, therninfluence of wetttability on oil recovery of polymer floodingrnwas found to be minor for the three different wettingrnconditions. These results provide a guide to applying the ASPrnflooding and polymer flooding to the reservoirs with differentrnwettability.
