Design and Implementation of a Helicopter-delivered Sub-Vehicle IARC 2002

The University of Texas at Austin IEEE Robot Team has prepared an entry to thern2002 International Aerial Robotics Competition. The team aims to demonstraternautonomous forward flight and navigation between waypoints in 2002, and sub-vehiclerncapabilities in 2003 and 2004. This document covers the design decisionsrnand system design for a prototype multimode sub-vehicle. It aims to expand thernbody of knowledge regarding an oft-avoided topic among IARC teams in 2001,rnand get the mistakes of any first try out of the way.
