A Research of Computer Network's Development Orientation in the Future

摘要

the programmable network is a network that allows user and manager to control network in any extent on their own willing. The user uses the opening environment and tools that are provided by the programmable network to serve the network configuration quickly and dynamically, to develop the new function. It has challenged to the traditional network, which is flexible, safely and mutual operated. So it will be the development orientation in the future. This article summarizes the two fields of the programmable network research, Active network and Virtual Switch.
