Production of light gauge extreme wide clad and bare aircraft sheet using a horizontal heat treatment furnace with a spray quench system

摘要

An equipment and a production practice for processing light gauge extreme wide clad and bare Aircraft sheet has been developed. Caused by the extreme width it was necessary to use the ,,Single Sheet Production Route`` instead of the ,,Coil Production Route``. The major problems for the ,, Single Sheet Production Route`` can be related to fabrication and metallurgical influenced critical items.
