Small spherical monogranules of magnesium and new highly efficient method of their production

摘要

Small spherical monogranules of magnesium are widely used in ferrous metallurgy, chemistry, petrochemistry and other branches of incustry. As a rule, mmethods of their production are based on the dispersion of moltem metal in inert atmosphere by mechanical methods (spraying from the rotating perforated glass, atomising by sprayers or by the jet of compressed gas etc.) An obtained product is characterized by variuos changes in granulometric composition, high porosity and coarse-grained structure. The product cost is high enough because of great power and inert gas consumption.
