The sustain pulse is an important driving parameter in an alternating current plasma display panel (AC-PDP). Among sustain pulse shape, the 1st sustain pulse width could confine the characteristics of PDP set In this experiment the electrical and optical influence on AC-PDP as the change of 1st sustain pulse width has been experimentally investigated by a versatile driving simulator (VDS) system.
