摘要

The porous nickel phosphate,VSB-5,was synthesized through hydrothermal method.Then,as synergist,VSB-5 was added to polypropylene (PP)/inturnescent flame retardant (IFR)composites.The flame retardant and thermal properties of the composites are investigated by limiting oxygen index (LOI),UL-94 test,and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA).With the addition of 1.5% (mass fraction) VSB-5 and 23.5% (mass fraction) IFR,the LOI value of PP composite increases to 34.9,and the heat release rate peak decreases to 780W/g.The results of scanning electron microscope (SEM) show that VSB-5 in suitable content can lead to impact and flawless char layer.All the results show that the suitable content of VSB-5 can improve the flame retardant efficiency of IFR on PP.
