Coherent digital demodulation algorithms with joint symbol timing and frequency offset estimation in software radios

摘要

The software radio is a popular topic in radio world. Its main characteristics is defining as much radio functionality as possible in software. In this paper, a joint symbol timing and carrier frequency offset estimation algorithm for phase modulation signals which could be used in software radios is proposed and could be easily realized in DSP because of its low calculation requirement and high flexibility. The simulation results of the algorithm are given.
