Inner Mode of an Overmoded Plasma Circular Waveguide

摘要

The characteristic equations of inner modes in an overmoded plasma circular waveguide coated with a lossy material are derived, and their relevant approximate solutions are given. The analysis shows that the approximate sloutions are consistent with exact numerical solution when alpha/lambda is equal to or larger then five, and can be used to analyze their propagation properties.
