摘要

The spacer-ball-free hybrid column structure, combination of organic black matrix (BM) on arrays and stack of color filter (CF) layers, is newly designed and firstly applied to the TFT/LCDs. This technology is very promising on precise cell thickness control such as ±0.1 micron. The cell structure and design margin are discussed in actual TFT/LCD in comparison with spacer-ball dispersed one.
