Wireless connectivity fits well within many different work scenarios. New uses for wireless communications are being discovered daily. Today's marketplace is dominated by wireless products which insert directly into desktop PC's similar to other peripherals. The future expansion for wireless LANs will lie with portable PC's, especially as the PCMCIA interface on laptops become more readily available and accessible.
