Concurrency in parallel and/or distributed architectures sometimeshas a crucial effect on control. The authors derive a simple descriptionof weak interaction in a concurrent discrete event system, and prove theequivalence between concurrent well-posedness and weak interaction. As aresult, they obtain necessary and sufficient conditions for designingthe unique maximally permissive feedback without taking concurrency intoaccount
