Sustainable Mobility - Concept and Criteria

This lecture explains the concept of sustainable mobility, based on the Brundtland Definition ofrnsustainability, given in 1992 at the UN Conference in Rio. To maintain the options of futurerngenerations, a dynamic equilibrium must be created between protecting the environment, promotingrneconomic efficiency and strengthening social solidarity. This requires the three dimensions ofrnsustainability to be weighed up, ensuring that none of them is systematically disadvantaged.
