TRAINING PROGRAM FOR LNG TERMINAL OPERATORS

This training program is designed for LNG terminal operators to enable them to become efficient, effective and familiar with the operation of the LNG terminal facilities. The objective of the program is to give trainees sufficient knowledge and practical ability in order to efficiently perform their assigned duties.rnThe training will cover the technical subjects described below:rn1. Basic conceptrn2. Pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-uprn3. Operating and maintaining facilitiesrn4. Safety and fire protectionrn5. Pilot LNG tank trainingrn6. On the job training.rnThe training program will be classified into the three phases: in the classroom training, pilot tank training and on the job training. Especially, trainees can experience LNG behavior and handle LNG with the use of Pilot LNG storage tank. KOGAS will prepare the training program, including training course, training materials and schedule and assign high-qualified engineers who will carry out the training program. At the end of the training course trainees will have acquired sufficient knowledge and practical ability to perform their assigned job specific position in the LNG terminal.
