Japan is one of the earliest developed Asian countries that begin planning the green space system, as its cities are thickly populated.Its green space construction started earlier, which was driven by the economic and social development at that time.There is a reinforced legal system in relation to the green space, as adjusted from time to time in accordance with the social development.Regarding the disaster-prevention green spaces, it is tailored with a reinforced disaster-prevention system which can be classified into different disaster-prevention parks.Broadly, it can be divided into region-level and city-level disaster-prevention green spaces;specifically, there are emergency shelter, temporary shelter and shelter stronghold, with a complete range of disasterprevention green spaces.
