SEM PACKAGING OF ADVANCED MODULAR AVIONICS

Next generation tactical aircraft are using Standard Electronic Module (SEM) formats for packaging of advanced electronics. These modules represent the state of the art in electronic, mechanical, and packaging designs. SEM provides standard mechanical and electrical definitions that allow multiple vendors to produce modules that co-exist in the same integrated backplane.
