The NJDOT has completed a survey of bridges on and off the State system which were built before 1947 to determine their historic significance.An Historic Bridge Preservation and Management Plan will develop goals and strategies which guide and promote the protection,preservation,and rehabilitation of New Jersey's historic bridges and/or their character defining elements.
