The method involves utilizing a standard route planning program with bulkinesses calculated in advance. The bulkinesses are calculated from historic data in an optimization process, where the bulkinesses replace weight data in a standard program. The bulkinesses are determined in an optimization program such that a large number of trucks is considered as fully loaded. Sum of the bulkinesses is standardized to one for one of the fully loaded trucks. Analog optimization problems are represented at a route planning program.
