Starch Based Copolymers as Biomaterials in Vivo biocompatibility Study

This report is a preliminary study of a starch-based copolymer that was used as a bone substitute. The interest of this study was to evaluate the possibility of using a hydrophilic material as a bone substitute. We studied this copolymer alone, after phosphorylation, and after hydroxyapatite coating.
