THE OPERATIONAL EXPERIENCES OF KSNP AND FEEDBACK TOAPR1400

Advanced Power Reactor 1400 (APR1400) hadrnbeen developed for last 10 years and acquired designrncertification at 2002 in Korea. APR1400 is targeted tornhave more advanced performance of safety andrneconomy than those of the current nuclear power plantsrn(NPPs). The Reliability, Availability andrnMaintainability (RAM) program was major tool tornassure the achievement of APR1400 availability goalrnby design analysis. This paper is to introduce thernadvanced design features of APR1400 and their effectsrnon plant availability.
