The issue summarizes the synthetical system of the uranousrnsolid waste disposal in Yibin Fuel Element Plant,and recounts the presentrndisposal techniques and equipment.The new technologies under researchrnare introduced in brief.First the combustible sold-state waste is chosenrnout by pretreatment,than after the threatment of pyrolysis and combustionrntechnology, the s volume will be reduced by more thanrn90%(v/v).The flue gas can be easily disposed,and most of the uraniumrnwill remain in the slag.Pyrosis and combustion technology is a methodrnwhich is now under research,to treat the spent uranous organicrnsovent(TBP/OK).
