The activities of organic phase species have been calculated to describe the equilibrium in systems H_2O-HCl-TBP and H_2O-ZnCl_2-TBP. The formation of hydrated ionic pair, tetrasolvate, monosolvate and semisolvate have been assumed in the first system and disolvate in the second one. Set of constants has been optimised twice: at first through minimisation of Σ(l-Σx_i)~2 (x_i is a mote fraction of component i) and then through minimization of Σ(c_i-c_(ical))~2 where c_(ical) is a calculated molar concentration of component i. Formation of complexes ZnCl_3 has been taken into account.
