We conclude on the basis of our study that laser offers an effective, safe and quick method for the relief of tracheal strictures with the exception of those in the subglottic region. The patient is relieved of his / her symptoms . Further follow - up is necessary to evaluate long - term benefits of laser can be evaluated. The introduction of stents int the tracheo bronchial tree has provided excellent results.
