Modelling of the diagnostics influence on safety integrity of safety function

摘要

The paper is dedicated to modelling the diagnostics influence on the hardware safety integrity of safety function implemented by safety relevant electronic system. In the paper, by means of homogenous Markov chains, is analysed the influence of different forms of diagnostics and its basic parameters - diagnostic coverage coefficient and failure detection and negation time, on the hardware safety integrity of safety function.
