摘要

A computer model for the electrical behaviour of RF multi-chip modules fabricated in a silicon-based MCM-D technology is presented. Numerical electromagnetic field analysis is used to derive a general lumped equivalent circuit for arbitrarily-complex substrates containing integrated passive components. Circuit analysis is then used to predict the non-linear behaviour of the combination of substrate and active components. The method combines the accuracy of field simulation with the efficiency of circuit simulation.
