An Exploratory Study Into Inhibitors to the Diffusion and Adoption of Mobile Commerce Technologies Within the Australian Context

This study indicates that if Australian organisations can minimise user dissatisfaction with mobile commerce systems they may be able to maximise the effect of their mobile commerce strategy. By focusing their efforts on implementing mobile commerce delivery through devices such as the new generation PDAs (that minimize the negative impact of small screen size and graphical impoverishment) organisations can better realize mobile commerce benefits by providing the type of contextually rich wireless Internet experience that most stakeholders expect.
