摘要

At Kakogawa Works, our most important target was to prevent leakage from vessel with refractory. Therefore we focused on management of the refractory installation, quality control of refractory after operation situation (off-line situation) and the condition of refractories in under operation, (on-line situation) In this paper, the action for the management of refractories is reported, especially, monitoring systems of the surface temperature of the shells of vessels. By means of this system, we achieved the technique of no- leakage of molten steel from ladle. Besides, by means of using laser-profile meter, the life of ladle can be improved by the prevention of leakage of molten metal in case of production of high grade steel.
