Investigation on Slot Air Film Cooling of Ramjet Combustion Chamber

In this paper,two methods were used to analysing and calculating the fields of slot air film cooling. One method was the engineering simulation based on experimental formulas, and the other was numerical simulation. The main factors influencing on the film cooling efficiency was investigated detailedly, especially the flow rate of the air injection from the cooling slot. A prediction of the slot film cooling efficiency was done according to the ramjet combustion chamber characterized by higher Mach number and longer duration of flight. The slot film cooling structure scheme in the combustion chamber with higher temperature was given as a reference.
