Analyzing students' learning needs is meaningful for the curriculum design. Considering the differences in students' expectation and proficiency in English, the study carried out a quantitative study to determine the predictive factors of students' needs and the correlation between them making use of the linear regressive analysis.rn Needs analysis of students, the fundamental part ofcurriculum design, plays an essential part in the learning process and the performances of the students, while thereare a large number of qualitative researches aimed atperfecting English teaching, this quantitative study explores the predictive factors determining the difference instudents' needs, thereby establish the correlation between the predictive factors and the differences.
