The study aims to measure the exhaled nitric oxide(eNO)from different parts of airway, airway resistance and pulmonary function in OSAHS patients and explore their potential application, especially eNO,in clinical setting.eNO is an effective marker for upper airway obstructive episodes due hypoxemiacausing local oropharyngeal inflammation and can serve as an indicator in the diagnosis andmanagement of OSAHS together with airway resistance. Through its ability to amplify oxidative andnitrosative stress, may be suggested to have a pathogenetic role in OSAHSA.
