摘要

A risk/reliability assessment tool for ultra-deepwater well control equipment used for offshore drilling operations is disclosed. Embodiments take into consideration all of the processes required for competent risk/reliability assessment for loss mitigation. In an illustrative embodiment, the system provides a simulation tool which evaluates equipment components and simulates the various failure modes for each component and the effect on the other components in the equipment being evaluated. An automated reporting tool quickly identifies components, failure modes for components, and troubleshooting information.
