PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processing device and a method thereof, capable of easily extracting heavy metal cadmium in a rice and wheat farming soil at low cost with high performance, and suitable for large scale application.;SOLUTION: A processing device includes an extraction device and a separation device 7. The extraction device includes a movable frame 1 capable of being connected to an agriculture vehicle, and a soil collection device 3 attached to the movable frame 1. The soil collection device 3 includes a soil preliminary processing component 4, a feeding device 5, and an electrolytic soil collection device 6. In an extraction-separation method, a soil is transported to a first transportation component by using the feeding device 5 to perform preliminary processing, then an electrode is controlled so as to be inserted into the soil over a second transportation component by using the electrolytic soil collection device 6 to perform electrolytic processing, a heavy metal cadmium soil is converted by using the electrolytic soil collection device 6, and finally, heavy metal cadmium is separated from the soil by using the separation device 7.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
