PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide ephedrine alkaloid-removed Ephedra extract in which ephedrine alkaloids are removed from Ephedra extract, to provide methods for producing ephedrine alkaloid-removed Ephedra extract, and to provide anti-cancer/anti-metastatic drugs, pain-suppressing drugs, anti-influenza virus drugs, containing as an active ingredient the same.;SOLUTION: Provided is a method for producing Ephedra extract from which ephedrine alkaloids have been removed, the method being characterized by Ephedra hot water extract and/or removing ephedrine and pseudoephedrine from Ephedra hot water extract by cation exchange chromatography.;SELECTED DRAWING: None
