To provide oral hygiene products that suppress and sterilize the growth of various bacteria present in the oral cavity, airway, and upper gastrointestinal tract to cause oral diseases, such as periodontal disease and dental caries, and have the inactivating effect of a virus that infects living cells with its gene.SOLUTION: Provided are a toothpaste and an oral hygiene product for oral cavity, mouthwash, nasal cavity, or throat, which consist of seaweeds such as Laminariaceae, Undaria pinnatifida, Ulva, and/or one or more extracts from the seaweeds, and by keeping it in the oral cavity for about 30 to 60 seconds, suppress and sterilize the growth of multiple types of bacteria including various causative bacteria that cause periodontal disease or dental caries, and have a virus-inactivating effect.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
