This music element generation assistance device comprises a reception unit and a generation unit. The reception unit receives a music element sequence that includes a plurality of music elements arranged in time series, and also includes blank portions of the music elements. The generation unit uses a learning model for generating a music element of another portion based on a partial music element, and generates a music element of the blank portion on the basis of a music element positioned later on the time axis of the music element sequence than the blank portion. A music element learning device comprises an acquisition unit, a setting unit, and a construction unit. The acquisition unit acquires multiple music element sequences including a plurality of music elements arranged in time series. The setting unit randomly sets blank portions in a part of each music element sequence. The construction unit performs machine learning of the relationship between music elements other than the blank portion of each music element sequence, and the music elements of the blank portion, thereby constructing a learning model indicating the relationship between the partial music elements and the music elements of the blank portion.
