The present invention relates to a high-strength austenitic stainless steel with improved low-temperature toughness in a hydrogen environment. Austenitic stainless steel with improved low-temperature toughness in a hydrogen environment according to an embodiment of the present invention is, by weight, C: 0.1% or less, Si: 1.5% or less, Mn: 0.5 to 3.5%, Cr: 17 to 23% , Ni: 8 to 14%, N: 0.15 to 0.3% containing the remaining Fe and impurities, optionally Mo: 2% or less, Cu: 0.2 to 2.5%, Nb: 0.05% or less, and V: 0.05% or less including more than Precipitates with an average diameter of 30 to 1000 nm or less in the microstructure are distributed in an amount of 20 or less per 100 μm 2 .
