METHOD FOR STEGANOGRAPHICALLY ENCODING AND DECODING A DIGITAL IMAGE

The proposed solution makes it possible to protect a digital photograph against illegitimate use by applying a digital marker in such a way that the presence of the digital marker is unknown to a user, is sufficiently difficult for a steganalyst to locate and withstands a series of attacks, for example cutting out part of an image, changing the brightness and contrast characteristics, deteriorating the quality of the image itself and a white noise attack. The claimed result is achieved by a computer-implementable mathematical approximation method for applying a lensless Fourier-transform hologram to images, in which the image itself acts as the hologram itself.
