KEYBOARD HAVING NEW KEY POSITION LAYOUT, AND INPUT METHOD OF SAME APPLIED TO ELECTRONIC DEVICE

A keyboard having a new key position layout, and an input method of same applied to an electronic device. The keyboard has a main key area formed by 25 keys, and 28 letter key positions are distributed in the main key area, which is used for displaying 28 input method letters, wherein the input method letters are Chinese Pinyin letters, shape code letters or English Latin letters. During an input process of an input method, a found word, phrase or entire sentence can be displayed in upper, lower, left, right and point candidate bars of each key, such that a candidate space is expanded, unless a point candidate bar of a certain key is occupied by a certain letter or functional symbol under a certain condition. The input method comprises a Chinese Pinyin input method, a shape code input method and an English input method. By means of the present application, multiple platforms, such as a computer, a mobile phone, a watch and a mouse, have a universal key position layout and input mode, such that the learning cost is low.
