Mass airflow sensor (186), comprising:a housing (202) defining an airflow channel (204) designed to absorb air flowing in a first direction (236);a sensor element (206) located in the airflow channel (204) generating a signal indicating a mass flow rate of air through the airflow channel (204); anda plurality of flow reflectors (208-218) arranged downstream of the sensor element (206) in the airflow channel (204), extending from an inner surface (248, 250, 252, 254) of a wall of the airflow channel (204) and designed to inhibit an airflow through the airflow channel (204) in a second direction opposite to the first direction (236),wherein the airflow channel (204) comprises a first section (224) having a first longitudinal axis (230), a second section (226) downstream from the first section (224) having a second longitudinal axis (232) and a third section (228), downstream from the second section (226) having a third longitudinal axis (234),wherein the plurality of flow reflectors (208-218) comprise a first, second, third, fourth, fifth and sixth flow reflectors (208-218); andwherein the sensor element (206) is arranged in the first section (224) of the airflow channel (204), the first and second flow reflectors (208, 210) are arranged in the second section (226) of the airflow channel (204), and the third, fourth, fifth and sixth flow reflectors (212-218) are arranged in the third section (228) of the airflow channel (204), wherein the first flow reflector (208) extends from a first inner surface (248) of the airflow channel (204), the second flow reflector extends from one of the first inner surface (248) opposite the second inner surface (250) of the airflow channel (204), the third and fifth flow reflectors (212,216) extending from a third inner surface (252) of the airflow channel (204), and the fourth and sixth flow reflectors (214, 218) extending from a fourth inner surface (254) opposite the third inner surface (252) of the airflow channel (204), where the first inner surface (248) is perpendicular to the third inner surface (252) and the second inner surface (250) perpendicular to the fourth inner surface (254).
