The present invention relates to a fishing competition management system based on artificial intelligence and big data, the system comprising: multiple terminals; and a server communicating with the multiple terminals. Each of the multiple terminals may comprise: a camera for capturing an image of a target fish together with an image of a reference object for calculating the length of the target fish; and a communication unit for transmitting, to the server, location information of each of the multiple terminals and information on the images captured by the camera, wherein: the server determines an actual length of the target fish by using the received image information, determines rank information according to the actual length of the target fish, and transmits the determined rank information to the multiple terminals; the server calculates a ratio of the length of the reference object, included in the image information, to the actual length of the reference object, and determines the actual length of the target fish by using the ratio and the length of the target fish, included in the image information; at least one of the server and the communication unit transmits the rank information to a pre-designated map-related server; and the map-related server displays fishing information on a map on the basis of the rank information, and provides same.
