Even when exchange is performed at a wrong exchange rate, the wrong state is easily corrected to a state in which the exchange is performed at a correct exchange rate. An exchange rate management system P1 of an embodiment includes processing units P2 in which game play is possible with a value in an available currency exchanged from a value in an unavailable currency at an exchange rate, a main storage device A312 configured to store an exchange rate updated at a predetermined timing, a sub storage device A21 which is provided in each processing unit P2 to store an exchange rate, and a relay storage device A322 configured to store an exchange rate which is to be deployed in the sub storage device A21, in a manner of being updatable to the exchange rate stored in the main storage device A312. The main storage device A312, the sub storage device A21, and the relay storage device A322 include update time storage units A3121, A211, and A3221 storing a time when the exchange rate is updated, respectively.
