Provided is a material design device that can, in a short time, derive an optimal solution for a design condition for a polymer that satisfies a desired physical property requirement. A material design device 1 comprises: a mixing ratio range input unit 11 that sets a designated range of a design condition for a polymer; an exhaustive analysis point generation unit 12 that generates a plurality of exhaustive analysis points within the designated range input from the mixing ratio range input unit 11; an exhaustive analysis point–polymer physical property storage unit 14 that stores a data set in which polymer physical property values, which are calculated by inputting the exhaustive analysis points generated by the exhaustive analysis point generation unit 12 into a trained model 13, are linked to each of the exhaustive analysis points; a physical property requirement input unit 21 that sets a designated range of a physical property requirement for the polymeric material to be designed; and a filter unit 22 that selects, from the data set stored in the exhaustive analysis point–polymer physical property storage unit 14, the exhaustive analysis points that satisfy the physical property requirement input from the physical property requirement input unit 21.
