PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterway aeration device and a waterway inspection method capable of suppressing the death of a living thing in a waterway in a stagnant state. A water channel aeration device 10 supplies air to water in an intake channel 3. The aeration device 10 for a water channel is installed so as to extend from land into the intake channel 3, and is installed in an air supply hose 11 for supplying air from one end to the other end and in the intake channel 3 at positions separated from each other.
