Refinement of machine learning engine that automatically generates component-based user interface

Techniques have been disclosed that refine one or more machine learning engines that automatically generate component-based user interfaces based on user feedback. In various embodiments, the computer system stores template information that defines a plurality of component types and one or more display parameters identified for one or more user interfaces. The computer system receives a request to generate a user interface, which identifies the data to be displayed. In addition, the computer system automatically generates a user interface, which is performed by one or more machine learning engines that use template information and datasets as inputs. The computer system then supplies the user interface to one or more users, receives user feedback associated with the user interface, and trains at least one of the machine learning engines based on the user feedback.
