A method for digesting a sputum sample, comprising the following steps: oscillating and digesting a mixture of the sputum sample, sputasol, and an oscillation protective agent, the oscillation protective agent being selected from any one or a combination of a defoamer, a surfactant, a protein, a peptone, and a polyhydroxy organic matter. The method can not only shorten the digestion time but also ensure, on the basis of guaranteeing the digestion effect of the sputum sample, that microorganisms are not cracked and do not die in the oscillation process, thereby improving the accuracy of inoculation results.
