METHOD FOR PREDICTING THE EFFECTIVENESS OF TREATMENT FOR RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS USING OLOKIZUMAB

The invention relates to medicine, more particularly to genetics and rheumatology, and can be used for predicting the effectiveness of treatment with olokizumab in patients suffering from rheumatoid arthritis. The method comprises genotyping 27 polymorphisms in 18 genes, allocating said polymorphisms to three groups, determining genotypes for each of the polymorphisms and evaluating the occurrence of associated alleles in the homozygous and heterozygous states using a scoring scale. The conclusion about the effectiveness of the olokizumab treatment is based on the results of a comparison between the score total for each group of polymorphisms and threshold values.
