Low carbon footprint materials are used to reduce carbon dioxide emissions to produce high carbon footprint materials. The method of forming the composite material is to provide a first high carbon footprint material and a carbon footprint with less than 10 unit weights of carbon dioxide (CO 2 ) emissions during the production of 1 unit weight carbon nanomaterial. To provide a carbon nanomaterial produced in the above, and to form a composite material containing a high carbon footprint material and 0.001% by weight to 25% by weight of carbon nanomaterial. Includes forming, evenly dispersed in the composite, to reduce carbon dioxide emissions for producing the composite compared to high carbon footprint materials. [Selection diagram] Fig. 2
